Kacie + Matt | Trash The Dress Photos

So I believe I’ve mentioned a few times on here that I  L.O.V.E my job.  I am so thankful to each couple that chooses us, and feel honored to be able to share in such a huge moment in their lives.  And, on top of all that, we have couples that come to us and say…”Tim, be creative, go nuts, let’s have fun with this.”

I remember first talking with Kacie over email, and her telling me about all the incredible, artistic ideas she had for both her wedding and her photos (let’s just say they’re getting married in a barn that houses vintage cars!)  Kacie also happens to be one of those people who comes ultra prepared for their shoots with printouts of various photographs she’s fallen in love with during her “research”/blogstalking that she hopes would inspire and inform me of her vision.  I welcome the input Kacie.  Then Kacie told me she wanted to do a Trash-The-Dress session (our first in FOUR years of doing weddings), and of all things, she wanted to do it BEFORE her wedding.  So, being the resourceful, prepared person she is, she found a dress on Craigslist for $40 and a tux at a thrift store for $10, borrowed some painting supplies and once again emailed me some “inspiration”.

The result?  Simply stunning!  Well, I’ll let you judge that one for yourself…
