No offense to my TX roots, but we have absolutely LOVED the last year here in Tennessee! It’s a mecca for great natural, outdoors photographs. From the mountains & trees, the overabundance of incredible outdoor venues (ie: TN Riverplace, Walnut Hill Farm in Dalton GA, just to name a few), and the fact that there is actually more than TWO seasons (hot + hotter) really makes TN a great place to live and shoot. Not only that, but we are so close to some really great cities to get married in (Rome GA, Dalton GA, Knoxville TN, etc). A few weeks ago we had the privileged of being introduced to yet another incredible outdoorsy venue: The Chimneys at Big Canoe. It’s basically a giant Cabin community spread around the base of the mountain, and it is simply gorgeous. And they have the greatest tag line: “Civilized by Nature.”
